At Equus Optimus, we not only train horses and teach riders, but we raise trainers. Our philosophy is that every horse does better with a job and every horse does better at that job with better horsemanship as its guide. Only by becoming a trainer can a person have the depth of knowledge and expertise to exercise better horsemanship. Equus Optimus was founded with the mission of helping horse-lovers become trainers and, in turn, develop the most fruitful and productive relationships with their horses.
